On Labor Day we decided to take the sailboat out with the kids. We really just wanted to try out the little motor that my dad gave us. In the past we have had to paddle out of the marina which takes forever! It was so nice to have the little motor, but as soon as we got out of the marina Hazel was freaking out. She doesn't like any wind at all, so we headed back in and let the kids swim.
Hattie kept falling over in her lifejacket. She was on her back and looked like a bug that couldn't flip over while kicking her hands and feet. Hazel had to help her up.
A few days after Labor Day, Brendan and I were back at the lake for some more fun. We had 2 wave runner rentals that we had to use before the end of the week. Everyone was working during the week, so we got a babysitter and went with just the two of us. It was a fun little date, and we had the whole lake to ourselves!
